The North American Handmade Bicycle Show took place from February 26th, 2010 to February 28th, 2010 in Richmond, VA, USA. Next year’s show has already been scheduled to take place in Austin, TX, USA.

From the looks of things, the event was a great success this year. There was plenty of coverage, and the entries look fantastic.

Renold Yip of YiPsan Bicycles took home both the “best city bike” and “people’s choice” awards at the 2010 NAHBS. Renold, the sole proprietor of YiPsan, grew up in Hong Kong and studied engineering in the UK. In 2002 he moved to the United States to pursue his dreams. In classic American fairytale style he started his own business following his passion, and some eight years later he’s onstage accepting the premiere award for excellence in his craft :
