Anken Life is bringing back the pop-up night market for the second time and will be turning it into a monthly event.Â The event is inside the complex we’re located and will run on November 20thÂ from 6-10pm. People usually pack in to F5 after and we’ll stay open as long as people are still having a good time.
We’re gonna be serving up unique cocktails,Â and craft beer. Pints of Asahi will be 20RMB all night long.

Friday, November 6th is the first in a double-whammy of BFF Shanghai after parties. Lindberg and Frau will be gracing the turntables at ANKEN AIR, followed by Bicycle Film Festival founder Brendt Barbur. Things kick off around 10pm and will roll late into the night. Ever listen to the Deftones? Of course you did. Sergio Vega is flying in from New York City to play the Levis Commuter x Bicycle Film Festival After Party on Saturday, November 7th. It’s going down at Arkham and is totally free. SergioÂ Vega is from New York CityÂ and plays in both Deftones & Quicksand.Â He began to DJ in 2001 and has brought his signature Lower East Side, Manhattan aesthetic to parties across the US, UK, Europe and Japan. Tell your friends, bring your dance shoes, it’s going to get wild.
Grab your mask, prep your devil horns, hop on your bike and get ready to drink. This upcoming Saturday, October 31st is the annual Factory Five Halloween Group Ride. In the past we’ve seen riders dressed as grim reapers, dinosaurs, Nintento characters, teletubbies, pirates and more. Let’s raise the bar this year and bring our costume A game. Weâ€™ll leave the shop at 7pm and ride as a group towards Yuyintang (851 Kaixuan Lu near Yan’an Lu) for the Shanghai Halloween Tribute Show. This year there are bands covering The Offspring, Marilyn Manson, Cannibal Corprse and the party God himself, Andrew WK. All the Family Marts between F5 and YYT are fair game for street beers so bring your coins! Sound fun? See you on Saturday, and Happy Halloween!
